Audicity help

What do you mean by a 'small part'? Do you mean just a portion of the mp3?

Open the mp3 in audacity. Select the portion of the mp3 you'd like to keep, and go to Edit>Crop selection.

Then go to File>Export as Wav and name the file and choose a location.

That should do the trick.

Alternatively, you can just select the part of the mp3 you are interested in, and go to File>Export Selection as Wav.
