I just got a postcard listing the public site (must be since my card was addressed with my name "or current resident") at audible.com/holiday04. I bought the last two SK Darktower series books and check out and download went fine as compared to the last time they had this sale. The sale is good through Dec 19th.
 
when you download the book is it split up into chapters or is it just one big hunk. I once had LOTR on cd, but it was one big mp3 so anytime I wanted to pick up where I left off I would have to fast-forward through and find where I stopped. Pain the the butt.
 
If you burn the book to CD using Audible's software, it creates 10 to 11 separate files on each CD. It is easy to pick up where you last stopped reading. I've been "reading" audible book for several years; about two per month. It is great if you commute.
