Audi pulls out of ALMS

the new prototype car will race at the 12 hrs of sebring and 24 hrs du le mans. the new R8 GT3-class will be available for customer teams for 2009, i think in both america and europe.
 
This may be the end for ALMS. Penske is going to rolex sports cars. Honda wanted to move up to LMP1 to compete with Audi, but I have a feeling they will pull out too.
