Audi parts aren't cheap, especially from dealer. I usually get stuff from either ebay or wholesale online.

For example the cluster lightbulbs for my a4 were little over a dollar a pop and rear wheel bearing cost me $35 off ebay or around $90 at the dealer. If you ever need any electronics, get them second hand because the dealer rapes you. ABS sensor $50 off a guy on audiworld or $250 new from the stealer.

That car is ugly for sure. Looks like the million other European cars out there.

All dealerships are like that. Parts for most cars are cheap if you know where to look, but people would rather just say "blahblahblah parts are so expensive."

Actually, I think it's already here. I took my GTI in for service last month and there was an A3 2.0T at the dealer.

Hell, seeing the A3 in Germany when I was over there a few years ago is what made me buy my GTI. Although after experiencing first hand the VW/Audi reliability issues I don't know if I would ever buy another one. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but I think it hates me. Just for the record, I have an '03 GTI 1.8t 5 speed.

Is this directed at me? If it is, it is the second time I've been accused (?) of being a banned user. Just to clear up the record, I'm not. I've used the username Vix9 on every other forum I've ever posted in (look me up at Ars).

With that out of the way, you may now return to your regularly scheduled thread.

It's no big deal, I'm not pissed, just wanted to clear up my identity.
