My first car was a 1989 Audi 100. It had 276,000 miles on it when I got it and is probably my favorite car I've owned to date. It had virtually no brakes, a failing transmission that never wanted to shift in to 2nd gear (3 speed automatic), and no heat during the Minnesota winters. No matter what was wrong with that thing, it still refused to die. I eventually named the car "Hitler's Revenge". I got rid of the car with close to 290,000 miles on it. A couple months afterwards we got a letter from the state of Colorado telling me my car had been stolen and recoverd in downtown Denver. Apparently somebody stole the car from the dealership I sold it to, drove it from Minnesota to Denver, and was arrested. It makes me wonder what that car is up to today. Hopefully it's causing chaos somewhere in this country.
