Auction Sites.. What Do You Look For?

For those who use/have used auction sites, what do you look for ( ie. layout, features )?
What features do you like the most from which site? What have you not liked?

Natch. I use eBay. It's the biggest, so my odds are better. I guess there's others and in time I suppose I'll check them out. Craigslist is cool because it's free to the seller, so if you're a seller it can be a winner. At eBay I check the feedback if I have doubts about what's going on. You can actually seek out past sellers who bought the same item some times - click on the item number and see what item it was. Ebay has a lot of features, but it's very much a for profit business. The CEO is a multimillionaire.

On Ebay you can communicate directly with the other party in an auction. Say you win an item and you have an issue. You can find out the phone number of the seller or buyer. It might not be valid, however - that happened to me. Ebay has a lot of features. Feedback is not as reliable as it should be. A lot of times you really have to depend on your common sense, your hunches, your gut feelings... like life itself!
