A friend brought this to my attention because the guy is using the handle "TCCWO" and is in Tampa (supposedly) and I used to work at TCWO in Tampa.

The guy might be legit, but he only takes BidPay, his name is supposedly the same as an actor's (David Zayas,) his mailing address is a P.O. Box at a Mail Boxes Etc. on the edge of town.....

I Googled him and came up with his open source shopping cart (OS Commerce) on a free webserver: http://tccwo.netfirms.com/tccwo/nfoscomm/catalog/

Again... Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but if one was trying to make themselves look legit, this guy is a walking lesson on how NOT to look legit.

Now despite all of this, I do see where he's been selling stuff for a few months now. And although he does have some negative reviews, mostly the reviews are positive.

I'm just concerned because people I know are buying CPU's and hard drives from him. Nobody received any product yet. I hope they eventually do!

Oh... And one more thing that sounds scampendous:

The "domain" TCCWO.com that is used for email correspondence with the auctioneer is "hosted" by Domains By Proxy, Inc. A whois anonymity service. :disgust:

If you took a look at what he has and what he's selling it for on auction... yeah.. you could say that. IF he turned out to be legit, of course.

I guess my gut feeling was right. I'm hearing the song "Take the Money and Run" in my head right now: http://www.tccwo.com

Boo hoo. eBay supposedly shut you down. Even if that was true, why does that mean you can't ship product that's already sold? Why does that mean you can't fulfill rebates? Why does that mean you can't refund people that want a refund because you don't have their product?

I hate theives, but I hate theives that think the general public is stupid even more so! :| :| :|
