I gues sit's because how the stupid BCS works that you have to root for your conference like that. Otherwise I would think I would want my rivals to lose. What do I know though, I'm just a silly Canadian and do not understand the intricacies of big time college football. 😀

Second, their uniform with the sweet little birdie wings on the shoulders.

Third, "Ducks"? Even the Gamecocks have a better mascot.
 
Is this the first year the championship game has been on ESPN? I would have thought that would be a non-cable game.

Hmm, looks like the quality goes up when they're actually playing.
 
Auburn's defense was good enough to shutdown Alabama in the 2nd half so they have a vote of confidence from me.

This game will probably come down to who settles in first and/or catches the breaks.
