atx psu with micro atx motherboard??? can it be done?

this is most likely a stupid question but i need to know before buying a 300x psu if it will work with a micro atx board. thanks!
 
The power connector on an ATX PSU will be compatible with the power connector on a micro-ATX motherboard. However, an ATX PSU will not fit in a micro-ATX case (so as long as you're using your micro-ATX motherboard in a mid or full tower ATX case, with your ATX PSU, you should be fine; I've done it with no problems). 🙂
