Ive been trying to find a full size ATX cube case, and have only found MountainMods Bob Slay which I gave considerable thought into getting, but am still uncertain. I was wondering if anyone knows of any Cube-shaped ATX cases (seeing as i dont want to go with mATX for my c2d then i lose my oc :( ) or anything smaller and lighter and easier to take to and fro places because my p180b is getting annoying.

TIA

Well, there are certainly plenty of small/light ATX cases - when compared to the P180 series. ;) Try the Antec Super LAN Boy. It is an ATX mid-tower, but shrunken down as much as possible while keeping the same form factor. Many people have complained around here of it being difficult to work with because it was so small. Also, it is very light. People around here also complain about it being flimsy, but I've found that it's perfectly fine once you have the side panels securely screwed on. There's also one case smaller/lighter than the Super LAN Boy, and that was the original LAN Boy which you may not be able to find anymore. However, Chenming/Aspire had their versions as well. Here's one example.

The X-Sonic isn't too bad, I only want to resort to a normal tower as a my backup plan, I like the cube shaped cases for w.e reason, i just want thats more than a clear cube but i need it to support standard ATX, towers are too run of the mill for me, i want something different but not necessarily a cube.

The CoolerMaster Mystique 631 is very light and available from SVC.com at a good AR saving. Yeong Yang makes a server cube. I think it is a bit smaller than the UFO but it's heavier.

And Lian Li recently introduced their modular cube. 3DGameMan.com has a video review - definitely not for the thin of wallet... 3DGM also has a vid. rev. of the Mystique 631.

I like both the Yeong Yang and the Lian Li, but both are a little big for my likings, i guess im looking for a case that is as close to mATX as possible and isnt a tower

No reason they couldn't make a wider X-QPack or MicroFly - put a bug in their ears...

How hard would it be to take http://www.mountainmods.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_64&products_id=276 this case, paint it or do somethign to hide this insides (clear acrylics look disgusting IMO) and possibly turn it in to a decent case rather than wait for Apevia or Ultra to widen out the X-Qpack or Microfly?

Edit: question is, is it worth the 140$? or should i just get a lighter smaller case and scratch the whole cube idea
