Oh man, our thread went into the abyss! Where did we leave off? I still can't get the MOBO to recognize these damn Optical drives! Once again, I am the guy with this system:

Anyway, I left you specific instructions on how to proceed, as I found out which controller is which as far as your bios is concerned. Please go back and follow my last set of instructions and report back exactly what you've done. Please follow the instructions carefully and explicitly.

 
I could not see it because the tech support is only three pages long. I thought after the three pages, the other ones were just deleted. Where can you see it? I will be working on the computer again on Monday.
 
Ok, someone bumped up the old thread (thanks), but let's keep the discussion in the old thread as it's easier for everyone else to follow. But here, I'll tell you how to adjust your settings so you can see that thread and others that are a little older.

As you're reading this, look up above this message to the right. You'll see:

Click on Profile.

You'll see your basic personal info. But at the top of the profile page, you'll see an icon labeled "Personal Options".
Click that.

The first section there has things like color themes, etc. Scroll down a bit. Here's my settings for some pertinent sections:

I would like to see the last 14 days of topics when I enter a category.

How many topics do you want listed when you enter a category? 100

How many messages do you want listed when you enter a topic? 100

Now, of course, you don't have to use my settings. But these will ensure you will see these older threads longer
than you see them now.

Cool? Now, again, let's keep the discussion in the other thread and pick up with the last set of instructions I left you.
