DL all the old time and new tables for free!!
Even More!

You can even make your own tables! All of it is free. I have down loaded some but some take a way to set up I havent figured out how to yet. If your computer savy and understand how to set it all up PLESE let us know how to do it step by step in moron terms so we can play them all too.

And yes some are real easy you dl the package and drop them in but there are some that require you to do more and that is what I am stuck on.

But there are alot there that you can just DL and play and alot of the older ones I used to play at the bar when my parents took me when I was a Kid.

Alot of these games look and play better then any you could buy. and there are so many it is so hard to pick which ones to play first. There are hundreeds of them to dl.

If you want to give him a great gift for his birthday or Father's Day, track down the Pro Pinball series of games (The Web, Timeshock!, Big Race USA and Fantastic Journey - they are by far, IMO, the best, most sophisticated, most fun pinball simulations made for any platform. There's an edition that includes all 4 games as a set that you can find on eBay for very little.

Pinmame + game roms + Visual Pinball + VP tables = lots of fun
Sometimes alt.binaries.emulators.pinball has a flood of roms and tables.

Video game fans should check out MAME, the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator.

So far my fav's are:
New world-they took an actual high res pic of the table and it looks the best. seems unfinished but my god it looks like your right there playing it.

SharkRC1
F1Grandprix-very good looking and a ton of fun
Eightballremix-Very good looking and alot of fun

I am still going through alot myself. I am just having way too much fun checking out all the older games from my childhood (70's and 80's). So many tables and just dont know which one to play. If you are a old pinball gamer you really need to check the site out. There is nothing that can be bought IMO that will give as much joy as thi sdoes playing some of the old tables and best of all its FREE!

I agree, pinball emulation is some pretty cool stuff, take a look at my little arcade system here.

There are whole communities dedicated to this sort of thing, it's really easy to get caught up in it!

There is a very good step by step guide for setting up Visual Pinball/Vpinmame on the site you linked to at

I bought the Pro Pinball bundle set featuring the four games for like $9. These are the best computer pinball games ever made. Little Wings JP also made some pretty decent video pinball games like Crystal Caliburn back in the days.

Hmm

I got the tables from the first linked website to work...

However none of the tables from the vpforums site work...

Anyone get these to run?

I really want to play the addams family table!

If you're running XP SP2, you'd probably be better off downloading
VPinball-7Alpha.zip &
VPinball-7alpha-3.zip
even though it's Alpha.

I was putting some on a friend's old computer
(PPro200 & Win98se)
& I think the VPinball61.zip is supposed to work better.

VPinMAME tables seem to possibly have better features.
You have to download the ROM too.
They seem to need more CPU though.
The Xenon sounds good.

Did you see these instructions?
