I'm dying to know if this video card will fit in my case. I really want an HTPC case, but I don't want a tower, and change to another case. I don't want the 4670, I want only the 4830. I looked on newegg website for the pictures, it looks short but I really want to find out before I buy it. The one I saw is the sapphire 4830.
My case can fit the 4870, but the psu blocks the way to plug the 6-pin plug in. If someone can measure the 4830 from the metal part. Or if you have the 4870 side by side 4830, that would be really helpful. Thanks. I think that it depends on the brand, sometimes its a little longer if its asus ?
Internet says 8 1/4 for 4830 and 9 5/8 for 4870, but I really want to make sure. I don't trust the internet facts on the length.
