Just an FYI: This tax was already owed to the Commonwealth. Beginning in 2011, you can report and pay this use tax on the PA-40 instead of the PA-1, as was required in the past.

I would rather pay the PA use tax being that I do not pay a PA income tax. May have anything I need sent across the river to NJ and pick up from there.

That's why I love that I moved to West 'By-God' Virginia. Pennsylvania has turned incredibly shitty. Don't know what that state is thinking. They are trying awful hard to become as shitty as Virginia.

PA road construction: It never actually gets finished, just restarted every year.

I've found that going from Ohio to Penn is usually an upgrade in roads when driving.

Yup. You can feel the state line when driving :^D

For all my issues with MD, we have pretty good roads.

Once they finish setting up mile after mile after mile of cones and concrete barriers, there's no time or money left to do the road work.

Or remove the cones and barriers.

You guys must not get to Ohio much. There are some majorly fucked up roads there. Not saying they are worse than PA's, but pretty much on par with them. Now west virginia, you'd think they would have the worst roads being the ass backward hillbillies that they are, but they have very nice ones.
