I hope they keep around the H3 though. Not a better stock offroad vehicle existing in mass production.

That one already has gotten the axe.
Isn't this a call out thread?

Not entirely true, the "I have a small penis, a large bank account, and poor decision making skills" demographic will be heavily impacted.

They still have the the Q7, Cayenne, X6, Navigator, Suburban, Canyonero, etc to choose from. Unfortunately.

Uh, sorry but no. Mediocre power train, nothing special in the 4x4 department, hard to see out of, and not exactly big on the inside. If you want to off-road for cheap get a Wrangler, otherwise pony up the cash for something more expensive. Oddly though the US doesn't really get any of the good off-road vehicles foreign companies make.

Well, almost inarguably, the Suburban can be very practical for those who need it (IE; live in an area with bad roads, have 6 kids, or whatever). As for how many people buy Suburbans who have a frequent need for all the rows of seating, storage, and towing capacity, IDK. Most Suburban and other SUV owners would be better off with Minivans (safety, fuel economy, ergonomics).
But people should be free to buy what they want. After all, although few 'need' SUVs, there is no supportable 'need' for sports cars in purely practical terms.

Seems that the H3 is a very capable offroader, keeping up with Jeep, Rover, Toyota, etc. They do note that it's expensive (overpriced) and has poor fuel economy though.

You will be sorely missed by the men who need to compensate.

Nothing in stock form can follow it off road.

Mercedes-Benz Unimog, ends the discussion of best stock offroad vehicles.
The Hummer is fat and overweight, it can excel in certain areas and horrible in others. The Jeep being light can excel in the opposite.
Everything has downsides, except the Unimog. Greatest STOCK ever
