If you want to see the thread, I can show you (if my memory recollects the subject title).

Anyway, at some point it wasn't hard to construe it that way. He started to back down after responses from people and your response. However, he was banned nonetheless.

With a recollection like that for these threads, I don't believe you'll ever abandon the forums, even after you hit supermodel status. ;) Nah, I don't need to see the thread. What I vividly recall is baffled2 (Geekbabe) jumping to my defense.

Good then. I remembered him when I saw a member that seemed exactly like him and lived at same state of residence. Their interests seem similar and views, particularly about women, seem similar. The difference this time is the new guy has toned it a bit. They struck me as perhaps connected. If he apologised and toned it, then so be it. It wouldn't matter if he's connected.

He actually didn't apologize, just PMed me to bitch about the mods because he didn't do anything wrong, did he? I don't believe I answered him.

[edit] Oh yeah, and about orthodontial work: I just graduated and have NO money in the bank, still looking for a job, and about to move to Seattle. We'll see, when I have the finances.

No money and moving to one of the most expensive areas of the country??

Best of luck!!

:) Thanks. I'm not moving TO Seattle exactly, but to one of the smaller towns around it. And I have enough to pay for moving and about a month of residency without a job. I shouldn't have a prob; I can work two+ jobs to make rent if I need to, and though I'm qualified for some decent positions, I also don't have a problem waiting tables if that's what it takes to pay rent.

You finally afforded dental service, Hot Chic? I remember you saying you didn't have the money for it due to your educational expenses. I even remember the case of that guy ImTyping. You gave that response there too when he mocked/insulted you.

Cool if you could afford it now. Did it take care of crowding? I was about to chew N8Magic--along with others--for neffing, but I found this pretty interesting. I mean, he could have PMed you, but good thing he mentioned it publicly. I say that since you had publicly mentioned things about it before. (Or maybe I missed your mention of it earlier.)

I *wish* I could afford orthodontial work. No, I just shelled out the money to get my wisdom teeth out because I had to. I still can't afford braces or any of the other work I need, ~$4,500.

Wow, the ImTyping thing happened a LONG time ago. He emailed me after he was banned, friendly-like.

You could always look at dental schools in your area HotChic, more than likely you'll play close to nothing to have the work done by a student dentist under a professor's supervision, I hope this helps :)

Ah...cool.

Had an offer, almost, to go work up there...passed up when I saw the cost of a house equivalent to mine here would have been $500-600k up there (2.5x as much! :Q )

You're dumping California? Awwwwwwwwwwwww! That isn't cool . . . gotta stick by California!!! :p Hehehe! Seattle is cool from what I hear, but the traffic is really bad and it rains a lot.

Oh, I don't know, but at some point I had to wonder if Seattle folks had a tendecy with psychological problems . . . when I read some bad weird stories there. Anyway, I'm sure I was just being too fast to stereotype folks there. I hope you enjoy it there or at the neighbouring cities.

Luvly -thanks for digging up that thread. I'm actually finding it a highly entertaining read, for various reasons. One being the sheer number of folks who defended me. Wow. :) So many things have changed, so many names gone.

As for cost of living, I'm paying $300 for my own room in my little town near Seattle, and I've been paying $350 to share a room in Davis. I'm not happy to be leaving California, but stuff happens, and I'm not leaving the West Coast. I'll go back someday. :)

Dang you! Ever heard of a PM? :)

Got them out, declined nitrous and valium and just went with the novacaine. Not really one to have my mind messed with. I no longer look like a chipmunk, but there's some swelling in my jaw that I'm not sure is supposed to be there... going to get it double checked tomorrow. Thanks.

PM?

Bbbbbbut that doesn't add to post count! :D

Glad to hear everything went well. Try putting some (more?) ice on it, as that should reduce the swelling greatly.

Maybe we should have PM Count...*wonders if you can PM yourself* :p

Actually, Seattle doesn't get as much rain as people think

Just stays cloudy a lot, I guess ;)

Central Park, NYC gets more rain

No, dry socket is where the scab falls off exposing the bone underneath, causing tremendous amount of pain.

Somebody mentioned dental schools. I'm getting my wisdom teeth out at CWRU here in Cleveland. I think it's only like $500 for all four teeth. The people that take the teeth out are full dentists that are currently going for their dental surgeon degree, so they know what they're doing.

Ouch...I've had chest surgery wide awake, with just a local anesthetic because I really didn't want to be knocked out and drugged up all day. Wont be doing that again.
