ATTN hardware junkies: Recommend a good soldering iron

I need something better than the low end Radio Shack ones. Preferably something with a nice tip selection and I NEED something with a thermistor built-in since I'll be soldering chips with it.

Any recommended brands/models would be helpful.

Never had a problem with the temp-controlled Wellers I used to use at work.
