I'm just curious to know if anyone out there is running their Epox 8KHA+ mainboard with > 512MB RAM. I had 512 for the longest time, then just bought an extra 256MB of 2100 DDR RAM, and it was causing crashes on my machine. Games (SW:G and Jedi Knight II) would crash, specifically.

I have 512MB crucial 2100 DDR, and bought an extra 256MB crucial, 2100 DDR (supposedly the same thing, but the DIMM is actually arranged a bit differently). I'm pulled the chip and am planning to return it to Newegg.com, but I'm not sure if it's a bad chip or if my mainboard just couldn't take it.

Looking for opinions/experience. Thanks!

My old MB 8kha+, which is now my sons, has 2-512 pc2700 [1g] running for months now without problems.

Do you have the latest BIOS for it? You may read the bios revision history and see if there are any issues with RAM fixed by new revisions.

I have an 8kha+ w/ 1GB RAM. I had two 256 pc2100 for about a year and then I added a 512 of 2100. I had no problems after adding the extra 512. But I do remember hearing about some people having problems with all three dimms full. I was actually heisitant to try it but when crucial had a coupon a couple months back I went for it.
What bios are you running?
