I grew up in Arlington, TX!

I spent the past five years in Pennsylvania and now I live in Ohio. As much as I miss Texas i sure as shit don't miss the heat. Some of my friends up here were talking about the "heat wave" which I suppose is defined as 3 days of 95 degree days. I find that pretty weak.

Hell I remember back in DFW you would have something like 90 days of 100+ temperatures.

Something I learned about living in colder weather is that once you get to a certain point of cold; it's just cold no matter what. It's sort of like that with heat. I think once you get above ~95 degrees it's just plain hot. It doesn't matter if its 98 or 104 it's just too damn hot to really split hairs over it.

Hope you don't have chrome door handles! :awe:

My shifter knob has a metal band right where the head attaches to the shaft, been burned many times because of that.

It's fun playing hot potato with all your cars controls

I think it's legit to complain about extreme heat or cold when you're not used to it and not fully prepared.

say what you want about the heat in south/south-west, but every damn place has central air.

im kinda scared about how hot is gonna be in my car when i leave work

Be careful with the metal part of your seatbelt.

Depending on the metal, your steering wheel can also get pretty hot.

It was pretty obvious that he was specifying Texas and the Gulf and not implying just any body of water.

You on the other hand were just being the usual dick that you are.

Exact wording:

"Considering there's a gigantic body of water just to our East, yes Texas can be extremely humid. "

I can't expect you to logically deduce his implications (that a gigantic body of water translates to humidity), but again, you seem to be chasing every post I make ending up with reverse fail situations (like this one). :awe:

Let's be clear so you can be educated from this:

1)It is obvious that there is a gigantic body of water next to Texas.

2) Not all places next to gigantic bodies of water are humid

3) Therefore, I asked the non-obvious question - Is Texas Humid?

4) I received an answer with in implied "Considering there is a large body of water .... yes Texas is humid"

5) I responded, "Well, a place with a large body of water next to it does not mean it is automatically humid you know", and it implies - thus my question in the first place

6) Big bird jumps into the watering hole and comments on how simple it is. Not sure where Big bird flew down from.

7) Big bird starts walking backwards (have you ever seen a large bird backpedal? It is amusing).

MjinZ just admit you were being and pretty much always are a a dick on the forums

accept it and move on

Not really, I was only being a dick to Phoenix, but then again, he started the dicking around. I matter of factly stated examples of places next to large bodies of water that aren't humid.

It is damn hot outside but nice and cool inside. I was driving with my windows down for about 30 mins today and then I couldn't take it anymore.
