uhh more descriptive?

Like, canned tuna, tuna steak...

Do you have tuna and need to use it or something?

Simple Tuna Noodle Casserole comes to mind.

1 - 1.5 pounds fresh tuna steaks
1 large lemon
1/4 cup fresh basil
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Zest rind of lemon (avoid the bitter white).
In a mid size bowl, add lemon zest, juice from lemon, finely chopped basil, salt, pepper and olive oil.
Place tuna steaks in a pan and add marinade. Place in refridgerator, and cover dish. Marinade for 1.5 hours, turning steaks over once after 45 minutes. (Ziplock bags may work best)
Grill steaks for 6 minutes on each side.

6 minutes would be overdone for tuna. Tuna steaks should be served rare.

OP, is this fresh tuna, or canned?

My wife makes a killer macadamia nut encrusted Ahi steak, complete with a pineapple-jalapeno salsa...mmm-mmm-mmmmmmm-mmmmmm!

If I have any gravy or curry left over from my mom's cooking (or just use spaghetti sauce and hot sauce) I mix the two on a pan along with some salt, garlic, corn oil and let it mix for a few minutes. I also add some sliced tomatoes, onions, and green pepper. Works every time. 🙂great

I just made yellowfin steaks, marinated in blood orange juice, rice vinegar, & soy sauce. Pat with canola, crust with sesame seeds, cook in pan (pre-heated in 500 degree oven) over high heat on stove 2.5 minutes per side. Serve with wilted spinach & grilled cherry tomato halves and sushi rice. Dipping sauce on the side: soy, sugar, lemon juice & sliced scallions. Also good with hot chinese mustard. It's incredibly good.
