He's in town this entire week and stuck up in Alpharetta. I'm planning to drag him and his crew into town this week for a beer (or five). Tentative plans are either Tuesday (tomorrow) or Wednesday night at Price of Wales pub in midtown from 7:30ish until whenever. I will post a definite time/date as soon as he confers with his group as to what night will work best for them since they're gonna have to drive down from Alpharetta.

Other possibilities during the week:

Dinner/beers at The Vortex Midtown
Halloween shenanigans thursday night: locale to be decided.
Jazz at Churchill Grounds next door to the historic Fox Theatre

***Thursday night agenda***: dinner @ The Vortex on Peachtree possibly followed by jazz at Churchill Grounds afterwards. PM Vi_Edit for details as I will not be able to attend!

Bwuahahahahahahha! My kind of damn place!!!!! I wish we had something like that here in San Antonio. There are a couple of places to go for live rock and roll (and possibly not get stabbed by a dusted-out biker) But mostly we have kicker clubs and techno/raver places and smoky bars where the 50-plus crowd hangs out....take your pick.

Price of Wales is only a few more blocks up. Corner of 14th and Piedmont. Parking shouldn't be too bad on a Tuesday.

We'll hopefully hit the Vortex later this week. Definitely falls under the "local color" category. 😀
