The Adelphia High-Speed Internet news service offers each customer a generous 5 gigabyte per month download volume that can be enjoyed amongst all household email accounts. News service users that wish to download more than 5 gigabytes per month can purchase additional volume directly from Giganews.

I got this email this morning, being an Adelphia PowerLink user.

Adelphia is now offering an improved news service in partnership with industry leader Giganews and customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Improvements include a higher percentage of news article completeness and significantly longer news article retention for both text and binary articles. With the new service, Power Link newsgroup users receive a generous 5 gigabyte per month download volume that can be enjoyed amongst all household email accounts. Users with higher newsgroup needs can purchase additional volume directly from the Giganews service.

Commencing on February 18, 2004, newsgroup users will need to enter a valid email user name and password to access the news service.
