It's a mini-team called Team Within Team Anandtech. It originated in the RC5 project, and was started by a few members with smaller output banding together to compete with the big boys. Eventually there were a number of mini-teams, the Federation, the Borg, etc. with races between them and others and the mini-team concept carried over to SETI. 😀

Well...bad news for the Federalies....the Galactic FederationXPress delivered the XWarP Engines today, but the ship's main computer unit and hull will be delayed a few day due to the TWTA run Galactic UPS! 🙁:|

Hopefully, another Day or two in orbit of the Earth will take care of this most urgent matter....a report has been sent to StarFleet! !
 
heh, ok ray, i got my Athlon XP 1600+ and my p4 1.7ghz running on seti now. plus i got my roommate's 1.5ghz p4 doing fast fourier transforms and whatnot.... 😀

plus i'm possibly upgrading my 1.7 p4 to an athlon xp 1900+ or 2000+ [more likely than not].

I have only just begun to fight! I should have my 1700+ here by the end of the week and hopefully a mobo for it very soon. That would make my home fleet a 700@960, a 1.33@1.5, and a 1700+ @1.7. I vow to be poor and victorious, errrrrrrr, just victorious!! 🙂
