attention my squeaky chipset fan

blow the dust out. If that does not fix it peel back the sticker and put a drop of oil in there. It aught to put things back in order.
 
Mine was getting me totally crazy too...... thought it was the CPU fan at first but after replacing the HS/F with a Zalman 7000B, the noise was still there... so I found the squeaky little b*tch, removed the 4 screws of the cover, then the 3 little screws of the fan, removed the sticker and poured WD-40 in it... Put it back up and it's now as silent as it was when I bought it!

replace it soon.

i had the same problem. replaced with 3x with the asus replacement hsf and they all failed after a few months.
