Attention Logitech G5 & G7 mouse owners

I currently own a G7 mouse and although it is great for everything I do including gaming, I feel that battery life is just aweful. I can use the mouse steady for about 10 hours before I need to swap out batteries (luckily the mouse came with 2 and I always have one chraged).

But I was just wondering what people's feelings were regarding:

1)Wired vs Wireless mice

2) Swapping batteries so often

Thanks

I recently bought a G5 mouse and specifically choose it instead of the G7.
While I see no advantages of using a wireless mouse, my G5 never need new batteries and have room for customized weight.

Also, using a G5 over my old Microsoft Intellimouse Optical dramatically improved the piloting of helicopters and jet in battlefield 2.

The difference is stunning.

Ill be getting a G5 to replace my Microsoft crap wireless mouse. I barely notice any difference between wired and wireless, so Ill be going with a wired mouse and not have to deal with batteries.

I don't like wireless mice for the single reason that I feel wired mice have a better response time.

Ever since Logitech introduced the fast RF technology I see no response delay between my mouse and the cursor

My MX1000 laser mouse lasts for more than at least 4 days of ocasional usage and about 2 days of intense gaming on a full charge
