Attention: Graphics Professionals

Hi,

My brother has asked me to build him a computer(AMD). He will be using it for professional 3D graphics design. He will be using applications like Rhinoceros and 3D Studio Max.

I would like to know what graphics card to get him. $200 is the approximate limit.

Thank you.

I'd honestly have to say the Geforce2 ultra would be best for preformance, and like superwormy said, G450 for using dual monitors. But the T&L Ability of the Geforce2 ultra would have a dramatic impact on preformance. If he's using dual monitors.. you can drop in a Geforce2 Ultra and another PCI Video card for the second monitor.. but I really don't know how that would affect the preformance.. Geforce2 ultra looks like the best card for the price range.. hope that helps.

probably want to grab a gts2 flavored card as the primary, and consider a pci card for the second head.
