Attention Enlight 7237 owners.

Because of the recent price drops in Intel P4 CPUs, I?ve decided to build a P4 system using my existing Enlight 7237 case. I?ll be using an Asus P4T MoBo. Does anyone know if there are mounting issues in trying to use an Asus P4T in an Enlight 7237? Asus does provide that metal base with the MoBo. Or will I need a new P4 MoBo tray? Since I?m using an Enermax EG365P-VE (FC) PSU, the power supply shouldn?t be an issue. Of course I?ll need a new I/O panel. That?s another issue. Has anyone had any luck getting parts from the Enlight folks?

Idiot56209,
Did it come with a PSU? What MoBo are you using? Does the I/O shield match your MoBo?

Kingofcomputer,
Yeah, I know. But I already own the case.

The case did not come with a P4 power supply. I use the PC Power and Cooling 12V adapter. As for the I/O plate... why would you need one? 😕 The I/O plate supplied is a standard ATX as is every P4 board I've ever used. I imagine if the motherboard required an odd ball I/O plate, then the motherboard would come with the I/O plate (like in the days of the FIC SD11 and it's funky I/O plate layout).

Are you familiar with the Asus P4T? The USB ports are way down below the parallel and serial ports vs. the PS2 ports. The P4T does come with a I/O panel, but the corners are square and it may not fit the case.

Alas, I am not familiar w/ the Asus P4T, but apparently Asus is aware of the oddball lay out of their I/O and thus icluded the plate.

All I can say is try it. 🙁
