I don't watch the show but just to let you know it has been moved to Mondays at 8pm by Syfy.

The last episode had a huge drop in viewers, to under a million, and I guess StinkFy is in panic mode.

I guess StinkFy didn't want it up against Grimm which is on another NBC network.

Grimm is laughably bad.

I have a high tolerance factor for shit sci-fi/fantasy, but Grimm takes itself too seriously to be this bad. Bad acting, bad writing, bad directing.

If anybody should be in panic mode, it's NBC for having an amateur hour of this stuff.

Alphas isn't nearly as good as it was in its first season. I'm disappointed. Last season was pretty good. Maybe it was just the new concept...but the writing seemed better as well.

Um... wasn't it always on mondays this season?

*NM, just two hours earlier and the dvr is good at catching that.*

Too bad as it's a ok show and while not as good as once upon a time even though that is a bit more soap opera and a bit less action it's entertaining.

At least Warehouse 13 is still decent this year.

Yea, I'm not really that impressed with Alphas this season, but we'll see.

scifi only has alphas, lost girl, and wh13 now; may as well go dark the remainder of the week.

and merlin, but that's a bbc import so doesn't really count I guess.

I want Alphas to get cancelled so they stop blocking my street to film that crappy show.

so I am the only one here that likes the show and feels the second season is actually getting better than the first?

Its only been two-3 episodes so far. Kat is a blast. Its a terrific show. The best super-human one so far.

Unless my guide is wrong, not only did Alphas get moved to 8pm, but the 10pm slot is now a repeat of 8pm. That's a pretty big change for SyFy; that means the Monday rebroadcast loop begins at 10pm rather than 11pm.

Looks like they are making an all out effort to get the ratings up.

Well it's both good and bad. This means they're basically stretching out 2 hours of programming over 4 hours now, while only the first broadcasts are going to count for ratings. On the other hand there are more eyeballs at 8pm than 10pm, so putting fresh programming in the 8pm slot instead of a repeat could be a good thing.

We'll find out tomorrow, I guess.

The ratings are in. In the much better 8pm versus their old 10 pm time slot Alphas rebounded from a mere .98 million back to what they were doing before at 10pm, which is about 1.37 million. While it looks better on paper Warehouse 13 took that 1.37 lead in and added a half a million more viewers.

So, I would say this looks bad. Alphas just had some controversy over the lesbian kiss, which Sanctuary did just before it was cancelled. I take that to be a sign of desperation. And the fact that the show did a 1.37million at 8pm when there are for more potential viewers plus there is no Olympics and no network new shows is a bad sign.

So it's not great, but it is unquestionably an improvement. The important part is that the rating improved from 0.4 to 0.5. 0.4 is when all hell breaks loose and SyFy does crazy things.

I thought this coming week would be the first week Alphas would be on at 8PM? It has been in its normal time slot until this coming week. And its a great show. This past weeks Warehouse 13 and Alphas were just awesome :).

It's on at both 8pm and 10pm. So it doesn't really matter when you catch it.
