you know if they keep up with practices like that, people will find alternate solutions. Hell i'm not willing to pay more than $50 a month for highspeed access. If they raise it anymore, I'll go back to dial up. Everyone's Internet is $10 a month.

Don't worry, It's only going to get worse. Comcast is probably lies as much as any company I've ever talked to in my life and I was basically told "screw your connection, we have your money" but a higher up in the comcast food chain. the ONLY reason i still have them is cause freaking bellsouth doesnt give DSL on my lines. They do about 2 mins away from me, but not my neighborhood...bastards.

I don't think I've ever told my Comcast story here...but it's freaking sad. They told me lies 7 different times. I mean complete outright lies. I'll create a post on it sometime :D

EDIT: oh yeah, my ordeal was over a 2 month period :(

I don't see how their business practices have qualified a call to the Better Business Bureau. Was it because they didn't kiss cheeks?
No, idiot. It's because (as I already said) they promised me a $10/mo. discount in writing for merging my TV and internet accounts into one bill and then didn't come through with it, cancelling the offer (after it was already given) to thousands of customers. That's a deceitful and (in Oregon) illegal business practice for a cable company and it most definitely merits a call to the BBB. It's called "bait-and-switch."
Why don't you pull your head out of your ass?

*applauds Vic* You tell that moron how it really is weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:D
