In the past 2 minutes, Kaspersky has given me
"Network attack UDP Scan from 192.168.2.1 has been successfully replied"'

Zone alarm's "Blocked Intrusion" just went from about 3 to 96147 and counting.

What the hell's going on?

ZoneAlarm Pro has blocked access to port 3487 on your computer
ZoneAlarm Pro blocked traffic to port 3487 on your machine from port 53 on a remote computer whose IP address is 71.243.0.12. This communication attempt may have been a port scan, or simply one of the millions of unsolicited commercial or network control messages that are routinely sent out over the Internet. Such unsolicited messages are often called Internet background noise.

Damn. That's just one of the alerts, a ton of ports besides that are being scanned I think. That's not the only one...

port 53 is name resolution and that ip resolves to nsbost01.verizon.net , "ns" might signify name server
