I guess they aren't retarded monkeys with a TV show.

They are just monkeys with a TV show.

no mention of psu?

I just posted a comment there about the RAM and mobo selections. For RAM, tehy are having 2GB but running four sticks. We all know that this isn't the optimal solution. The best is to have 2x1GB sticks.

For mobo, they could have chosen the DFI NF4 SLI-DR or the newly released ASUS A8N-SLI PREMIUM, not the old Dleuxe model.

corsairs may not play nice with the dfi board, still redlines and ocz gold vx would get better overall performance

Yes the 7800GTX can power a 30in Cinema Display, it has dual-link DVI.

that doesn't mean the 30" Cinema Display is good for gaming...

Although I'd proably take the 24" or 20" Dell wide screens over that 27" POS TV they chose instead of a real monitor.

Only a 2x512MB of not that great ram, they definately picked brand name stuff, not necessarily the best performing. ASUS, Corsair...AMD FX57 was the logical choice, and I'm shocked they were smart enough to choose dual 7800GTXs, I was half expecting them to use just one just because they're idiots and have a notion that an "ultimate" gaming machine must be somewhat practical/affordable.

Even stopped clock gets it right once a day (or twice if you use an analog clock). I still say they're retarded monkeys.

they turned a d^mn fine show into a joke. I had watched it for 6 or 7 years and finally had to quite because it went down to tubes when all the great people left.
