It's very funny, but it cannot be true.

It's trajectory took it straight into the ceiling fan which whipped it about the room at terrifying velocity.

It could never have reached the bed, nor could it have been moving slowly had the ceiling fan been on. :p

The ceiling fan would have either blown it to the ground, or sucked it up into the fan. Either way, the ceiling fan part blows the entire story.

No, it's not. With the ceiling fan on, the air curents the blimp was riding on would have been severely disrupted. It would not have been floating calmly over his bed when he woke up. The airflow of the fan would have quickly pinned it against something. In fact, I doubt the blimp would have been able to enter a bed room with a celing fan running inside.

Trust me on this, I've seen a neutrally balanced helium balloon in a room with a ceiling fan
