Attached Code Window

So after replying to this thread, I realized that I must be doing something wrong as far as the attached code section is concerned. In particular:

1) The code in the window is displayed without whitespace (intentional?)
2) Pasting to an editor yields a single line ( s/[;\}]/&\n/g )

What voodoo am I missing, or is the attached code window really that useless?

It's just broken, and with the rate stuff gets fixed around here I would expect it to get fixed sometime between now and never, with an emphasis on never.

The attached code feature used to work in FT 2.
It became broken in FT 3 and was briefly fixed for a couple of weeks.

It then became broken when other issues were addressed.

Thats a bummer. At least I'm not crazy -- annoyed, but not crazy.
