ATT Yahoo DSL High-Speed Internet

I'm checking out the online deals that they have... The cheapest pkg has speeds up to 1.5 Mbps, while the next one up is $5/mo extra for speeds 3.0 Mbps... I don't ever recall downloading more than 400 KB/Sec.. Do I really need that extra speed?

keep in mind that 400KB/sec = 3200kbps. So 1.5mbps will only get you about 200 KB/sec
Also, as I have found out to my frustration, it's 384kbps-1.5mbps. So you could be getting 384kbps like I am getting, and that's only about 40KB/s.
