Att.... Ny drivers.. did you Auto insurance go threw the roof?

My reliance Auto went from 1250$ a year to 1790$ <------- Pull down my pants and spank me with a bat with nails :| :|

Has anyone else here got spanked as well?

BTW thats for 2 cars with basic insurance (both cars from the late 80s)and a clean record.

My dad has a 100% clean record and he pays $2,000 year for comprehensive coverage on his weenie Honda CRV in Manhattan.

That's funny, I just heard a story that the worst 250 drivers in the state (NY) will have their insurance rates drastically increased.
