ATT - Cingular

Aimster

Did they make you pay $18 "switch-over" fee for switching to Cingular?

I'm trying to move my 4 lines (family plan) to Cingular, but the guy is like you need to pay $18 for each phone to switch.

How did you people switch?

The guy is saying I cannot sign a new contract or anything. I am "migrating".

I wanted to sign a new 2-year contract and he said I cannot do that. Ok...

omg worst customer service ever. Guy gives me a number to call "ATT", but the number is the same Cingular number I just called. OK.

Im pissed they are denying the fact that the free2go plan still exists... looks like I will be buying my minutes on ebay.

for one thing, you do not need to do ANYTHING to switch over. your existing plan just gets switched over to Cingular automatically. let it run out and then sign a new one with cingular or someone else when the time comes.

second, signing up for a new contract should be no different than changing plans in any other context.
