The iphone 5 is today. Have you not been assaulted by ads for the past week? I dont even watch TV and I know about it.

Its kinda sad actually, that in this economy theres a ton of people who can waste a work day just to spend 650 dollars on something they really dont need.

If I had a job and the money to burn I'd buy one and smash it front of all them, just to watch the tears.
Not saying iphone users are wimps. Just that every time a big release happens theres always lines full of excited people. Like the 360 and PS3 before them.

Actually, if I was running a store I'd hand out numbers and tell people to leave. I wouldnt want lines and loiterers. That just makes trouble (fights and stuff).

You don't know what the line is for? This isn't something that's easily missed, especially for somebody who frequents a tech forum.

I'm pretty sure that's the line forming for the Windows Phone 8 coming out in a month or two. They'll definitely get their Nokia 920.

Plenty of people will jump on WP8, no doubt about it. But they wont be forming huge lines and waiting overnight. Many people dont even know WP7 exists and those that do arent all thrilled about it. And I dont think WP8 has received nearly as much hype as the other big daddies, like IP5 and GS3.
