AT's Dedicated BF3 Server and Origin List

Let's talk maps. Give me your input on what you hate and what you don't. Also: rotations. I haven't really played any of the rush maps so I'm relying on you guys for info =)

One thing that I saw that was pretty popular on BC2 was an air rotation server. All the maps with air choppers.

Please don't do Kharg and Firestorm back-to-back. Both are great, but too similar and vehicle-driven (unless one is Rush): best to mix in an infantry map (like Seine) in between.

I have to say, I really like Tehran Highway. Too bad it was rubberbanding.

Out of all the rush maps I played... I personally loved Damavand Peak... in this map there is no way you can go lone wolf after jumping off the cliff to get the last two MCOMs (Dunno if they are the last two because I never made it past this round)- otherwise people will pick you off as you are flying down or if you make it, it will be you vs the whole entire defensive team....if you make it down it is best to hide till your squad mates spawn on you or your teamates make it down - but you are totally SOL if your squad mates and team mates are snipers because sniper is really not good sniping down from the top of a cliff...

Was it around a map change?

There is a stat-padder on the tugboat right now with 44 MVPs awards. He tried to get me to participate. I said just play the fucking game. Unfortunately this is what is happening with the insta start setting the server is set on...

Maybe scoring could be disabled until the proper squad numbers join.

Unfortunately, we don't have any control over the scoring options. I changed the number of people required for the server to start again, to four, so we don't have two people just killing each other.

Instant vehicles was nice for flight practice, but made the tank maps a little silly when the server filled.

Got it - will change it up later.

When the server crashed today it was going from Damavand rush to Canals conquest, at least that is where it booted back up to. Might be a problem going from rush to conquest?

Nope. I was 10-0 sniping, by far my best game in bf3 and it apparently couldn't handle me not being negative =P Crashed 5-10 mins into the map.

It was lots of fun earlier today. I enjoyed the instant respawn of vehicles, really helped me get in some practice with the jets!

So the AT server has gone to shit with lag also? Derptown has been fine (except for Tehran and Caspian) until this weekend and then ever map has gone to shit after about 40 people when before it had to be about 55+ on those two specific maps. EOR is still claiming EA server build problems and that our box has only been showing 10% load.

I think rush mode with vehicles are stupidly imbalanced. I've played around a dozen or so and in not one case did the attacking team manage to take out a single MCOM. The only rush maps I can tolerate are the infantry ones, metro, seine, and bazaar.

I love Seine Crossing, but that map is a serious grind to play more than one round in a row. Especially if the teams are evenly matched, it takes FOREVER.

All of the weapons upgrades that become available. Planes and tanks get enhanced, lasers and flashlights, nicer rifles. Etc..

Imagine trying to start playing BF3 six months from now.
