After reading all the DRM shenanigans, sadly i'm gonna hold off some games that has activation limits :(

I have RA3 / ME 1. At least i found out there was a de-autharization tool...

I hope PC gaming can go to the right direction to give the gamers a great gaming experience, otherwise i'll stick with my oldies 08 games :p

i think the idea of giving added incentives to buy a game is the only thing that's ever truly going to work.

pirates will still pirate no matter what you do. reverse engineering is honestly about as much fun as most games these days to be honest. they're interested in programming and how these systems work... not just playing the game for free. so no DRM is ever going to get rid of them.

so really companies just need to reach out to customers rather than trying to defeat pirates.

I've found Steam to be the Solution

You get incentives for using Steam -

Community Multiplayer
Patches
Store
etc..etc..

(Mind you this is all stuff you can do on your own without Steam but it is a nice conveinence)

They are a good company, one that I truly believe in.
The discounted price I typically get my games at with Steam (I usually don't buy things that aren't on a weekend sale) Eliminate a good portion of the profits I would have made by selling a hard copy that I didn't buy on steam. *Any profit is better than 0 Profit I suppose*

For me, Steam has solved my issue with DRM.
