Mine is all coded by hand, though I don't know that it's fully compliant with the latest standards. I still use a lot of tags and techniques that are depreciated because they work across the widest range of browsers and versions.

I used to code with one Explorer and one Netscape window open, though I haven't been quite as dedicated at doing that kind of thing lately. For a while, I used Notepad or vi to edit, but for some time now I've been using the last non-jar version of Arachnophilia, which has the advantage for me that it works well even with several hundred files at a time.

The most obvious thing I still have trouble getting entirely figured out is the handling of video files. There are so many conflicting ways that you're supposed to embed them and all of them seem to have their share of problems.

No funky graphics, no weird colors, no strange tables, no flash, no animation. Just pure content. ;)

My main project website's template is XHTML 1.0 Strict, hand-coded. PITA. It's content, however, is added in Dreamweaver to protect the template from data-entry damage. It's not online ATM.

Check the sig.

I guarantee I have some of the cleanest code around, period. However, it's not 100% up to w3 standards because some of the "rules" are silly and pointless.

Edit: Also, everything I code is by hand. Check out the code if you don't believe me.

Front page, site articles area, site news engine, Picture Of The Week areas coded by hand. Otherwise using customized versions of Invision and Coppermine Gallery.
