For those of you who don't realize....companies buy out rights to be sold exclusively at some universities. Usually you will see the company on the teams jerseys and the clothing sold at the university. So what companies own your school??

I dunno about apparel but RIT doesn't have a football team and we've got a ton of Pepsi, which sucks.

Same here, i dont know about apparel, but all we sell are pepsi products. We also have a Sbarro Pizzaria on campus.

How did you manage to equate "sponsor" or "sell to" to "own"

cingular, coke/pepsi is split somehow. nike for sports i think

my college had both pepsi and coke products for sale

adn we didnt have a sports sponsor, D3 school

all the school cloths and stuff were Champion IIRC, just like everyone elses

Just a bit of a joke. Schools sell out to one company to make money often nowadays...wasn't serious.
