Pussies...

Just slapped together a 939 system with dual DVI, video card & CPU passively cooled and used an Antec P180 case.

I want to build a carputer next with GPS:)

As for me. I still care about PCs. I just don't bother with my current system beyond maintenance and such. I built it, now I can enjoy using it. I have fun making it, of course, but much more fun playing a game without worrying about something. ;)

Back then, you could buy a Celeron 300a for $85, move one jumper on the motherboard, and it would outperform a $600 PII 450. And you'd feel the difference every time you used it. THAT was cool. These days overclocking hardly has any practical benefit. You only see it in the benchmarks.

That's why you overclock your video card and memory.

Then you'll notice a difference.

Used to take care of my pc alot. No longer own a pc but two laptops. Kinda got tired of it.

You don't wanna face the PC anymore when you look at a few hundred screens each day.

If that is all you do, is use the internet, than you are right, you will not see a difference.
