ATOT: Who's actually visted Aus, where, and when? :)

5 weeks, a couple years ago. visited sydney, melbourne, tasmania, adelaide, coober pedy, uluru, and darwin. loved the kangaroo steaks!

Spent a week there on R&R in 1972...was drunk most of it...but I remember seeing the Sydney Opera House under construction. MOSTLY done IIRC, but not finished. Pretty cool looking...especially for it's time.

Spent a week in Brisbane, one day at Surfer's Paradise, 3 days on Tangalooma(Moreton Island), and then 2 weeks in Sydney.

Been dying to go back ever since. Just need to find about 10,000 bucks...or more if I'm going to visit dug in Perth

My friend has just gone travelling there for 2 months... I think she's in Melbourne at the moment... i called her at 17:00 our time (UK) but didnt realise it was 16:00 your time... She wasn't happy with that, it was the first time she slept since she got there on friday..

it's not that great here, we have a racist sh1thead for a prime minister, and racist sh1theads who vote for him. no one barbecue's prawns. people who live in the city (just about everyone) are about as likely to have seen a koala or kangaroo close up as they are to have seen an ostrich or leopard.

I visited for 3 weeks in 1990 🙂

Sydney, Brisbane, Surfer's and up to Townsend & Rockhampton 🙂

Cheers,
Aquaman

Visited Australia in 2001... A week in Brisbane and Gold Coast, a few days in Sydney and Melbourne.. Totally loved Brisbane. I'll probably go back in a few years.

I have three AUS roommates and one from mini-AUS (you know, the ones with marmite) plus have lived with about three others who've come through this house... I feel like declaring it Australian territory with all the "reckons, truths, and 'rock melons'" around here. Not officially but I feel like I'm there everyday.

Also, I dated one of the girls who worked at the Australian pavillion at Expo 74, the World's Fair in Spokane...I guess that qualifies as a trip into the Australian Bush...😉

ROFL

I think Australian girls are hot, and the accents are even hotter...I also like Australian beer, and I plan to move to Australia if Hilary Clinton gets elected, so I guess it's like I'm FROM Australia...eh?
