Once I learned about dominant and recessive genes, I knew that I was a goner. All of my mom's family were/are white-headed at an early age (one uncle was completely silver-white at 21 - very distinguished-looking but a bit odd to see in his college graduation photos); some of us chose to disguise that fact for a number of years, but (with only one exception) all of us cousins now wear it proudly. (Or maybe it's just that none of us has the time or energy to spend on getting it touched up regularly - you think dark roots when you go blonde are bad, try the opposite angle )

It could be worse, I suppose - at least we all have plenty of hair...
