Is that legit? Sounds a little suspicious that their cleaner only removes the bad bacteria.

It's more that the cleanser is meant to be super mild - the idea is to strip off the loose stuff without pulling away your oils and the biome of life on your skin as well. The idea is to go hand in hand with the skin spray, because that will help build up a bacteria presence that is known to muscle out the baddies in a way.

The stuff is kind of expensive but I think it works out because if you give the whole concept a chance, you end up using way less soap and shampoo.

The cleanser alone though I think would be terrific for anyone with sensitive skin. Preservative free, very mild formula, no unnecessary additives - the less oil stripping aspect alone is huge for me, I get very dry skin and it helps a lot.

I've been using more natural shampoo or chemical free as it's called and it's amazing how my hair gets less greasy feeling over a whole day compared to store products. It also feels much nicer.

So I've been looking for a similar soap, but the probiotics stuff isn't something I'm familiar with.

Yup, two huge aspects to better hair/scalp conditions: shampoo less frequently, and mild shampoo when you do. Adjusting to only actually washing (as opposed to just rinsing) once a week, like I do on average, takes a little time. If you've overly stripped your natural oils routinely all the time, the moment you start skipping even a day and you get nasty feeling. But in time you don't overproduce oil like that if you aren't constantly stripping everything. I find rinsing to help strip any excess oil is all that's necessary at times; that's all I do for my face, it's a once in a blue moon thing that I need to actually use soap on my face, and splashing water occasionally during the day.

I use Dove sensitive skin, but it doesn't last very long (roughly one bar per week). I haven't tried many soaps but for my dry/oily skin this seems to be pretty OK. I tried one of my bars of Goatboy soap yesterday and it left my face feeling pretty good initially, but very dry/oily maybe 15 minutes afterwards and throughout the whole day. At least the initial dryness from the Dove soap wears off somewhat quickly and doesn't result in my face being very oily.

I used to wash my face every night with Neutrogena, but I've stopped that and just switched to plain rinsing with water. That soap used to make my face feel dry as a desert immediately after using it.

@IronWing you might be the first person ever to invoke the ATOT effect on soap!
