I visited there this summer and got to visit the coffee fields as well. The coffee is probably the best I've ever had. It's nice and dark, but without the bitterness that accompanies many darker roasts. I'd call the roast FC+. I like to roast my own coffee, so I brought back 20 lbs. of unroasted coffee

.
The coffee sales provide a lot of support for Rancho Ebenezer. It's basically set up like a boys' home for children who would otherwise be on the streets without any family to take care of them. Foster parents raise them with good values, and they provide them with an education all the way through high school. Then they provide scholarships for trade school or college. The government only provides education through the 6th grade, so this gives the kids a real advantage to make something of their lives.
I believe that coffee sales raised $22,000 for the ranch last year.
Edit: If you buy 5-9 lbs., the price drops to $9/lb. If you buy 10-19 lbs, the price drops to $8/lb.
