Put me down for patent law. I have 6+ years of prosecution experience, 3 as an examiner at the USPTO, 3 as a student associate with a law firm. I will finish my JD in May 2007 and will hopefully be barred in MA come October.

You can also put me down for being knowledgeable about magnetic recording media. As an examiner at the PTO, I read about magnetic recording media for 8 hours a day for the better part of 3 years. I also examined and issued most of the applications that are the basis for Seagate's patented perpendicular recording technology.

Oh, and old school video games.

Its tax season, aren't your supposed to be working? My mom is a CPA specializing in tax and she is working ~15 hours a day right now.

What's an "expert"? I'm fairly knowledgeable about automobile repair, but I'm not sure that makes me an expert. I'd say everyone in here is at least fairly knowledgeable in computer hardware.

The only two things I'd say I'm even edging close to "expert" in is Cosmology and naval battles of WWII in the Pacific theatre.

Cool. My dad was in the fourth Marines, so I have more than a passing interest in the Pacific theatre.
