Well, I never had to change the parameters when enabling XMP. And I have a r9 5950X as well. Maybe it's because I have an ASUS board

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra. Known for flaky xmp.

Yeah, but what are your timings? The latency must be harsh to get that out of those sticks. Are they Samsung B-die?

I get you. I don't care enough to try to get the max speed out of it. I just have the tightest timings I could get. I value stability over all.
