Google knows my location. Even if I clear their cookies. Google also knows the location of my VPN server. They are just choosing to eff with me. Oh, but I could use their VPN and they wouldn't have a problem with that. I've been using Windscribe for 7.5 years. Never had this issue.@bigboxes - I use NordVPN since they're non-logging and sometimes I get things showing up in either Swedish or worse, French Canadian. But that hasn't happened in a while. Guess they ponied up for some more US servers. Those still jump around but they stay w/in the continental US.
Yeah, but unless you weave straw baskets for a living, it's going to be cheaper and infinitely less annoying to buy - for now at least. Once we have personal bots . . . we'll have to see.I like the fact that it's in theory possible to download a car now. If you have the right CNC tools you could download all the code to make all the parts. Some assembly required.
Probably not going to rip it open and then not get it back together. DUCT TAPE!Look for seams in the plastic. For a few short months, I worked at a Mattel factory. That was until I took out an overhead power assembly with my forklift. Good times.
Anyway, everything was sonic welded since everything was made of plastic. So if you find the seams, a Dremel with a very fine abrasive disc will cut thru the seams quickly and easily - well, in relative terms of course.
You still need to be very careful and wear safety glasses. Using a Dremel in that manner will result in "walking" and fly offs except on the very lowest settings. But you can't go too low or you'll stall out. And even then, it's a little like an itsy bitsy bucking bronco.
It IS doable however. If you're interested, I can go into more detail.
The seams should be about the same thickness of the plastic but you can't always count on that. There might "mating" posts and holes. You can leave those alone, generally speaking since they tend to not be glued. No need since the seams are welded.
Like I said, if it was fairly easy to separate without breaking the plastic I just might. But a comparable space heater might cost me $25. And the plastic, as old as it is, is breaking and fracturing. It is kind of interesting to see how it was manufactured. I may save it just to do as you say. There are lots of options for reassembly. I'd go with a non-conductive, heat resistant adhesive. But something simple like melting cloth tape used for hemming clothes might work. There's also hot glue sticks. I'm sure I can come up with more.
Also, you don't technically need a Dremel. A flathead screwdriver sharpened to a very fine edge would work as well and you avoid all the issues with a dremel. It also lets you do finer work. So you can just move along the seam, give screwdriver some gentle taps and then get more aggressive if the plastic is especially hard.
Almost every cat I've had did something at least similar, so I understand exactly what you're talking about. This one I have now does it more than any other cat I've had.I like the noise my cat makes when I touch him and he does not see it coming. "Brrrrrrou!"
Are you in PA?That lying, sack-o-shit rodent said 'Oh joy, it will be an early Spring.'
I got your early Spring right here Phil. How'd ya like deez nuts?
