Next time I think about the obscure crap we argue about on P&N, I'll reflect on the current argument about the comparative performance of ten year old CPUs over in the hardware forums. In CPU time, it's like arguing the virtues of Disraeli vs Gladstone.

I got a variety pack of canned cat food and it smelled like it had been dipped in cheap perfume. The box was even still wet in spots. I had to wash my hands after handling it and I'm wearing gloves when I go to open it.

Well Christmas is officially over now. Had everyone over at my house and everyone just left now. I find once one group leaves then it starts a chain reaction and everyone else leaves.

Had a fun time though. Off for 2 days then back to work. Got a super long stretch off after new years though.

Wood stove in it's final resting location more or less. Figured while my nephews were here I'd get them to help me move it. :p I am greatly exceeding all clearance requirements, starting to think I don't even need a heat shield. That opens up options for how to finish the wall but also means i should be able to pass wett certification even as is. Less of a rush to figure out how to finish it that way. I actually wonder how well drywall compound applies to cement board, If I really wanted to I could probably just treat it like a normal wall and paint it. Can do something nicer in the future.
